The new Bank of the West campus will be at BishopRancgh 7, a three-story building on Camino Ramon in San Under the deal — the largestg new office lease on the West Coastf this year — Bank of the West employees will move from sevehn East Bay buildings in late 2010. Michael Shepherd, president and chief executive officer ofSan Francisco-based Bank of the West, said the bank had multiplr leases expiring in 2010, and wanted to combinee East Bay offices in a singls location.
“The move to Bishop Ranch allows us to remain in theEast Bay, accommodatw future growth, enjoy greater efficiencies and provide our employee the high quality working conditions they deserve,” he said. The 10 million-square-foof Bishop Ranch, owned by , leases space to 550 companies acrossw30 industries, including 40 Fortune 500 companies. In Sunset Development Co. inkedx over 1 million square feet ofoffice deals, includinvg long-term leases by Robert Half International, Coca-Cola, Del Montre Corp., Chubb Insurance, and Liberty Mutuak Insurance. The combined leases of Bank of the West and Robertg Half International will bringapproximatel 3,000 employees to San Ramon.
